Life BIODIV’OM is coordinated at the national level by the LPO. Local actions in each of the 5 territories are set up and managed by the local coordinators. In Martinique, the Parc Naturel de Martinique is in charge of deploying the various actions needed to protect the White-breasted thrasher.

In order to formally launch the Life BIODIV’OM program, the PNM organized the first steering committee (COPIL) in the presence of the various partners of the project : Collectivité Territoriale de Martinique, Conservatoire du littoral, Ville de Trinité, Association Le Carouge, ONF and DEAL.

On this occasion, the mission coordinator “Fauna / coordinator Life BIODIV’OM Martinique” within the PNM, Nancy JACQUELIN, presented to the participants the context, the financing but also the actions that will be implemented over the period 2018-2023 .

A steering committee (COPIL) is composed of different members involved in the project. The committee ensures the smooth running of the operations according to the objectives and maintains a dynamic within the various actors involved.
