Sea discovery day
Each year, the Métimer association organizes the Sea discovery day, an event aimed at discovering the flora and fauna of the island for the youngest. This year, the event was organized on November 12 and 13, 2020 on Pinel Island, a tourist hotspot in Saint-Martin and brought together more than 200 children.
Like every year, the Saint-Martin Natural Reserve took part in this event on November 13, thus making it possible to educate 75 students. During this event, many various actions are organized: beach cleaning, nautical activities (paddle, kayaking, swimming …) and sports (beach volleyball, football …) and discovery of the flora and fauna of the island carried out by the Reserve Natural.
