Second workshop for drafting wrestling plans in French Guiana
On Wednesday, April 17, the GEPOG teams facilitated the second workshop to eventually draft plans to fight against Acacia mangium and Niaouli.
In total, twelve actors from the territory gathered for a workshop led by GEPOG at the EPLEFPA of Matiti.
This workshop made it possible to define the communication actions on the one hand and the training actions for professionals in activity or in the process of being set up from 2020.
These workshops allow GEPOG to acquire a lot of knowledge, favorable to the writing of the plans of fight against the invasive alien species.
Two other workshops will be carried out in 2019 in order to achieve the plans to fight against these two invasive alien plant species that threaten the dry savannahs of French Guiana and protected natural areas of the coast.
