In total, seventeen local actors gathered for a workshop led by GEPOG at Sinnamary’s House of Nature.

This workshop made it possible to define and describe the control actions to be implemented by priority geographical zones while discussing the diagnostic, planning, control and monitoring phases.
These workshops allow GEPOG to acquire a lot of knowledge, favorable to the writing of the plans of fight against the invasive alien species.

A final workshop will be held in 2019 in order to achieve the plans to fight against these two invasive alien plant species that threaten the dry savannahs of French Guiana and protected natural areas of the coast.
